Every bulldog I’ve ever owned has been mouthy and at five months, she’s probably still teething, so her mouth hurts.
A shock collar is too much, bulldogs are emotionally sensitive and don’t do well with negative reinforcement. When her teeth make contact with your skin, make a yelping sound (like a dog makes when it’s hurt) and then stop playing with her and ignore for a few minutes. It might take a few days, but she will learn not to bite you.
They’re really the greatest dogs in the world, be patient, the rowdy puppy phase passes and they mellow out before you know it.
