You will always need to speak with or get approval from a vet before getting your pet medication. Even the online resources where the pet meds can be shipped to you directly will still have to contact your vet to get approval.

Pet medications should be respected and a licensed vet will know what is bets for your dog. If you ever find a resource that claims no vet is needed for medication, I would recommend avoiding them at all costs.
