I just signed my dog up for Pets Best accidents & illness insurance this month, and I did not need to provide any exam documents when enrolling. I believe it varies by insurance company though.

What are you planning to use the for? For short walks where salt is a problem, you could probably get by with rubber booties. Mushers are a good cheap option that are good on packed snow. Go for neoprene if you need to hold in heat—good if your dog will be outside for long periods. Wax is also a good alternative to boots.

How interesting! I’ve never heard of a dog umbrella. We just use a raincoat for our dogs.

I’ve come here with the same question! I love the idea of the re-coat program. I think I’m going to go for it… will update when my gear arrives!

Have you looked into Ruffwear brand? It has everything you could possible need for running gear for your dog (harnesses, running belts, leashes, shoes, safety lights, reflective jackets, etc.). I just saw the brand for the first time when I was shopping at REI, and everything seemed to be excellent quality.

I’ve seen some good reviews about Tuffy dog toys. The brand has a “tuffscale,” with 5 being strong and 10 being mega-strength.

Well they are technically real; there just not really in your living room 😉 Very curious how your pup would respond to the Hey Bear Sensory fruits.

Hi Lizbeth. There are so many tricks you can teach your dog, and we have a guide on 27 of the best dog tricks. There you can find info about teaching fun commands such as “play the piano,” “wave,” ” speak & quiet,” “jump through a hula hoop,” “twirl,” and many more. I think teaching your pup to use dog communication buttons is incredibly fun for both pup and parent, so why not give those a go, too? Let us know how you get on!

WHAT?! The dog plays the piano. ???? I love the carry a bucket trick… I see a super cute trick-or-treater in our future. Just have to come up with a good costume!

This is a big reason why I switched to Sunday for my lawn care. Sunday’s products avoid harsh chemicals like SpeedZone. In my Sunday Lawn Care Review, you can read all about my experience with Sunday and see before-and-after photos.

The Pet Naturals Superfood treats look like exactly what I was thinking! I’ll take a look at the other options, too. Thank you!

SpeedZone’s label lists the hazards to humans and animals: “Causes moderate eye irritation. Harmful if absorbed through
the skin. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Harmful if swallowed. Prolonged or frequently repeated skin contact may cause allergic reactions in some individuals.” Here’s label info: http://epestcontrol.com/images/Products/labels/SpeedZonePIS.pdf

Have you looked into any supplements for stress support? Both me and my dog take CBD and it works wonders for anxiety. Definitely worth a try.
