I keep seeing puppy yoga posts on social media and have seen a few places in my town that do it. I’m not sure how I would even do yoga with puppies around or how my dog would behave. Has anyone actually tried puppy yoga? Is it worth my time? If it is, do you have any tips for participating that will make the experience better? I want to try it, but I’m kind of unsure if it’s for me.

I’ve been to a few puppy yoga classes near me – they’re great fun. Most classes include a bit of yoga and a bit of puppy play, so if you’re looking for a serious yoga class, this probably isn’t your best bet. But it’s a great chance to do some stretching & exercise with cute puppies running around. Puppies make me happy, and it gives me a real boost for the day, sometimes this is better than a full-on yoga class. So, I suppose it depends on what you’re looking to get out of your class? I know many places don’t let you take your own dog, so if you want to take your pup, you need to check if they will let them in.
