My dog has this hilarious quirk where, every time I sneeze, she acts like the world is ending. She’ll leap into the air, then proceed to run in circles, barking as if she’s trying to warn the neighbors about the impending sneeze-apocalypse. Once she’s exhausted her alarm system, she’ll look at me, panting like she just ran a marathon, as if to say, “You good now, or should I call for backup?” It’s as if she believes my sneeze is some kind of cosmic event, and she’s the only one brave enough to stand guard.
So now I’m curious, who else has a dog with a funny quirk like this? Share your stories with me.

My dog is pretty quirky too. One thing he does is bring people socks as gifts. I get a sock every morning as a good morning gesture, and he presents everyone who comes out of a room at any time a sock. So, for example, if I go into the bathroom and then come out, I get a sock. If I go outside and come back in, I get a sock. If my kids enter or leave a room, go upstairs, or even walk from one room to another, they get a sock. Suffice to say, we have a lot of socks all over the place. In fact we have more mismatched socks than matched because he steals so many of them we just give up and buy new ones.

My dog HAS to be under a blanket when he’s napping. He has his special blankets for the couch, his dog bed, in his crate, and when he sleeps on my bed at night. If he can’t successfully burrow under the blanket, he comes to get me to cover him. He’s such a goofball!

Ha how funny!

Do you know the noise the girl from the grudge makes? The gurgling/sucking air in sound? When I do that my Bull Terrier goes nuts – uncontrollable zoomies, barking to alert the entire neighborhood, it’s so strange yet super comical. But as soon as I stop he looks at me as if I’m crazy! Well, I probably do look crazy, but it’s our lil’ thing !!

My pup likes to put her paw on my leg whenever I look away from her. If I am sitting at my desk or at the table, she will sit next to me and put her paw on my lap. It’s like she is saying, “Hey, I’m still here!” The funniest part is when I look back at her, she will turn away and stare at the wall. I will give her a pat, and as soon as I go back to what I was doing, reading, typing, etc., she puts her paw back on my lap, and we do the whole thing all over again.
