I’ve seen videos online of people teaching their dogs to communicate with touch buttons. I know it takes time and patience, but is this something any dog can do? And how do you teach them concepts like “happy” and “mad”? I understand how to teach buttons like “outside” and “play”, but some of these dogs seems to be able to have full conversations with their humans.

Some dogs really take to these communication buttons and can move past the basic “outside” and “play” buttons. The results are going to vary widely based on the amount of time you have to train, the age and breed of the dog, and simply how enthusiastic your dog is with the whole process.
