I love hockey and bulldogs so I might want to name my pup after players on my favorite team, the Colorado Avalanche. Some ideas are Landeskog, after Gabriel Landeskog, Makar or Cale after Cale Makar, and Rantanen, after Mikko Rantanen. Could always go Mikko on that one or Nathan, after Nathan MacKinnon. Let’s Go, Avalanche! Some other ideas are Nikita after Nikita Kucherov (Tampa Bay) or Connor after Connor McDavid (Edmonton Oilers).

If you like golf, there are plenty of great names for dogs: Tiger (Woods), Bear (Jack Nicklaus), Bubba (Watson), Hogan (Ben), Bobby (Jones), Scotty (Cameron), & Ryder (Cup). A few Hollywood-inspired options too: Noonen, Spaulding, & Shooter.
