Has Anyone Tried Green Lipped Mussel for Dog Joint Pain?

Hey everyone! I’m a dog dad to an older guy who’s dealing with arthritis. He’s still got a lot of spirit, but I can tell the stiffness is starting to affect his mobility—especially in the mornings and after longer walks.
I’ve been looking into natural joint support options and came across green lipped mussel. I’ve read that it might help with inflammation and joint health, but I’d love to hear some real-world feedback.
Has anyone tried it with their senior dog? Did you notice a difference? Any brands you recommend (or ones to avoid)? Appreciate any advice or experiences you’re willing to share!

I have not personally given it to my dog, but I’ve heard lots of great feedback while working with pet parents at a supplement shop. Our best arthritis supplements for dogs article reviews a product with green lipped mussel in it. There’s some other great options there too!
