I have a 12-year-old mixed breed who’s had very few health issues so far. But I’m worried about major costs as he gets older. In this case, is pet insurance worth it? I’ve looked into it, and insurance premiums look really high because he’s older.

@mississippi_leg_hound I definitely recommend insurance for your Lab. I grew up with Labs, and many family members have them. Unfortunately, each of them has had an illness at the end of their lives that has required expensive vet care. Here’s an article I have dedicated to pet insurance for labs.
