I have a neighbor whose dog sadly passed away recently and she’s wondering what to do with all of the (expensive) medication she just recently bought. Chewy was kind enough to refund her for the cost, she just doesn’t want the medication to go to waste. Any ideas on where she can donate? Do shelters accept prescriptions for dogs?

Oh no so sorry to hear about your neighbor’s dog but nice of you to help find a home for the leftover medication! You might try looking at a local shelter, we did that with our previous dog’s medications. Or post them in a local Facebook group (or Nextdoor).
