Aww, imagining a little feisty chihuahua with my big guy really cracks me up! Thanks for the great insights.
Oh wow, yeah, it seems like I might need to get comfortable with leaving my pup at home and budgeting for the boarding expense for this longer trip. How sad… I sure will miss him!
I have a 10-year-old Pitbull mix who has been insured with Pets Best for 5 years. Luckily, she has been mostly healthy, so we have not had any big claims. However, we did file a claim and were reimbursed within about 3 weeks when she broke her tail when it got stuck in the fence. This was a little longer than we expected it to take, but it also arrived before our credit card bill was due, so it all worked out. They did cover it with no issues.
