My Dachshund has got back into the habit of chewing everything in sight. Her latest crime is ransacking the Christmas tree at night, eating all the decs she can. Her latest midnight snack was a mini disco ball, and this morning I’ve found a disco poop!
Why is she doing this all of a sudden? She used to do this when she was young, but she hasn’t chewed anything for a year. All of a sudden she’s being destructive and I don’t know why.
Any ideas why? And tips on how to stop my dog eating the Christmas tree?

Ugh, what a little rascal! I use a motion-sensor spray pet deterrent to keep my cats from climbing the Christmas tree. Maybe something similar could work to keep your pup away from the Christmas ornaments as well?
