How often should I clean my dog’s water and/or food bowls?

  I normally rinse them out after each meal, but how often should I run them through the dish washer?

  I run mine through the dishwasher at least every two days, but usually every night. Dog slobber + food = yukky & smelly bowls !! I don’t think there’s a “rule,” but rinsing them after every meal and running them through the machine every two days works for us (y)
