My dog loves to watch TV with us, but whenever there’s a commercial or show with an animal, he freaks out barking and jumping at the screen. We were watching the equestrian on the Olympics over the weekend and had to turn it to something else because his anxiety was so high! I don’t know why he doesn’t realize that the dogs and other creatures are not real! Anyone else’s dog do this? Why do they do this and how can I help him stop this because it’s almost impossible to avoid, since there are so many cute dogs in ads these days!

Well they are technically real; there just not really in your living room 😉 Very curious how your pup would respond to the Hey Bear Sensory fruits.

My dog always barks at other dogs on the TV, too. She does it anytime she hears another dog, in person or not. got a new electronic doorbell, and one of the sounds was a dog barking. When my pup heard it, she went totally nuts! I assume she wanted to know where the other dog was. I think they recognize other dogs or at least the sounds and are curious, which is why they bark…like to say hi.
