About PetLab Co.

PetLab Co. is a company inspired by Chris Masanto’s dog, Krystal. During the last four years of her life, she suffered from arthritic pain that left her struggling to walk. This led Chris to co-found PetLab Co. in 2018 to provide healthy snacks for all and supplements for dogs with age-related or general health issues. PetLab Co. is now considered a leading U.S. pet supplement supplier. You can purchase their products directly at their website, in many stores across the country, including Walmart, and online at retailers such as Amazon or Chewy.

PetLab Co. Products

PetLab Co. has approximately 30 products, ranging from nutritious snacks to health-related supplements and a few accessories. I review a selection of PetLab Co. products, concentrating on the best-selling and most highly-rated options.

This is one of America’s best-selling probiotic chews for dogs, which assists with gut health. Each chew contains fructooligosaccharides, a prebiotic that helps to balance a dog’s gut flora and microbiome. It also features a proprietary blend of probiotics to restore good bacteria and a yeast blend to promote a healthy immune system. These round chews are pork-flavored and super tasty.

The chews contain a mobility-supporting formula, including green-lipped mussels, anchovy oil, and glucosamine from shrimp. Each chew packs delicious salmon flavor in addition to health benefits. PetCo’s soft chews are for dogs over 12 weeks old and all stages of life, not just for senior dogs.

PetLab Co dental powder.

This powder-based dental cleanser is scientifically tested to reduce a bad breath compound by 40% in 28 days. This powder targets tartar build-up and supports your pup’s natural oral biofilm. Each scoop contains probiotics, brown algae, green tea, and rosemary extract, which support healthy teeth and gums, tackle bacteria, and freshen their breath. The powder has a chicken liver flavor, which most dogs find appealing. It is designed for dogs over 12 weeks, and the only difference between small, medium, and large products is the scoop size, depending on your dog’s size.

This powder-based supplement has a high concentration of pre and probiotics, beet pulp, and other active ingredients that help optimize healthy bowel function. In turn, this supports anal gland health and stool consistency. Plus, it also aims to reduce Fido’s infamous flatulence. Scooting, itching, and fishy odors are (hopefully) a thing of the past. This powder tastes like tasty beef and encourages your pup to eat it.

Each chew contains passion flower powder, ashwagandha plant extract, and amino acids that help to support your dog’s normal emotional balance and calmness. Most importantly, these chews are non-drowsy, and the ingredients don’t alter or dull your pup’s personality.

About PetLab Co. Subscription

Enter your dog’s details, including their age, weight, and conditions, as I have with my senior dog, Bonkers.

Once you’ve created your account, you can set up a subscription service. PetLab Co. encourages owners to subscribe to their products, and there are a few perks if you do. These include:

  1. Save up to 40% on every product.
  2. Free shipping every month.
  3. Free gift with your first delivery.
  4. Access to free expert advice.
  5. Early access to V.I.P. promotions.

It’s free and easy to subscribe, and you can pause, change, or cancel anytime. There is no contract, and there are no hidden fees. If you want to change or cancel your subscription, visit the help center. Once they’ve received your request, a customer service agent will contact you to confirm the update in 24 to 48 hours. A benefit of subscribing to PetLab Co. is that they can also ship to P.O., A.P.O., and F.P.O. boxes and some international addresses, which is handy if you and Fido frequently travel.

The only criticism I have of this service is that you don’t have the option to choose how often you receive products. Many subscription services allow you to choose how frequently you want to receive items. Instead, PetLab Co. only gives you a monthly option. This prevents you from purchasing bundles (more than one tub), which are better value for money and less often.

Our Experience With PetLab Co.

Watch this video to see how our dog liked PetLab Co.’s chews (including probiotics, allergy & immunity, and joint care.)

We’ve also tested one of their dental products, so check out this quick video and our PetLab ProBright review and see how much our pup liked it.

PetLab Co. also produces a wide variety of other products, including multivitamins, paw balm, dental formula, slow-feed bowls, leashes, and more. PetLab Co.’s ear cleaning product also made our top picks for ear cleaning solutions.

Frequently Asked Questions

We know that some of our readers still have questions about PetLab Co. and dog supplements. If you can’t see your question below, ask us in the comments, and we’ll find out.

What Is The Best PetLab Co. Product?

The best PetLab Co. product for your pup is the one that targets whatever health issues they face or the area that you want to target. If they have itchy skin, choose a product that supports and soothes itchy skin. Read the description and select the one that targets your pup’s symptoms or issues. Every dog is different, and you might need to try a few options before you find the one that works for your pup.

Does PetLab Co. Offer Samples?

As supplements can take up to 90 days of consistent use to show benefits, PetLab Co. does not offer samples. If you’re unsure about which product to pick, you can message them or call their customer care agents at 702-827-4738, who can help you choose the right product for your four-legged friend.

What Is The Difference Between ProBright And ProBright Advanced?

The difference is that PetLab Co.’s new ProBright Advanced formula is the evolved version. Both are great products. However, the newer formula contains different probiotics that help reduce bad breath by reducing hydrogen sulfide, the common compound that produces bad doggy breath. In contrast, the standard ProBright formula aims to freshen breath. ProBright Advanced also contains hydrolyzed chicken liver flavor, which makes it a tastier product for pups.

Do I Need To Speak To My Vet Before Giving PetLab Co. Products To My Dog?

Yes, you should always consult your vet before giving your pet any supplements. Although most dogs experience no adverse reactions to supplements, giving your pet unnecessary supplements can sometimes do more harm than good.

How Can I Help My Dog Take Supplements?

If your dog needs more convincing to take their supplements, try hiding or mixing them with their food, hiding them in treats or meat, or smothering them in dog-friendly peanut butter. Be patient; most dogs come around to eating their supplements after some persuasion.

Need Help Picking The Best & Healthiest Food To Fill Your Dog’s Bowl?

Although supplements can benefit some dogs, their lifestyle and what goes into their bowls often influence canine health. Every dog and their nutritional needs differ, but all dogs require high-quality, balanced nutrition. Always choose a formula that meets your dog’s size, breed, and life stage. There are plenty of options to choose from. Take a look at some of our favorite human-grade doggy diets, freeze-dried options, and our raw diet reviews.
