Are there any products that actually work to keep mud off a dog’s paws? I have a big yard with a lot of mud patches, and I can’t do any landscaping for a couple of months due to the weather. My dogs use the yard every day and always get covered in mud. I’ve tried paw washers, brushes, and even booties, but I cannot get them to stay on. I basically have to give my dog a sponge bath every single time they go out or take them out on a leash in the front yard, which isn’t really feasible due to being a reactive dog. Has anyone found a solution to muddy paws that actually works?

Hi Jessica! I have the same problem with my dog. Every time it snows or rains, my backyard is like a mud pit. I do a couple of things. First, I use a dog paw washer cup (see some of our best recommendations) to remove most of the mud. Just dip your pup’s paws in the cup and wipe them off with an old towel. That doesn’t always remove all of the mud, so sometimes I also follow up with some dog paw wipes. It is time consuming but better than having your house caked in mud. Good luck!!
