ManyPets Review: From The UK To The US

NOTICE: ManyPets is exiting the U.S. market to focus on the U.K. It is partnering with Odie Pet Insurance to offer continuous support and coverage to ManyPets customers. You can learn more about Odie Pet Insurance in our review.

ManyPets has only been in business in the U.S. since March 2021; however, it’s the leading pet insurance provider in the U.K. and Sweden (top markets for pet insurance). Unfortunately, ManyPets isn’t offered nationwide in the U.S., so it may not be available to you. But if it is in your state, it could be an excellent option for your pet’s insurance needs.

ManyPets Pet Insurance Review

Summary

ManyPets is new to the U.S. and isn’t available nationwide yet. Still, its experience in providing insurance in the U.K. and Sweden suggests that it could be an insurance giant in the U.S. after a few more years of experience.

Our pet insurance experts read through each pet insurance company’s policy to provide detailed comparisons and information regarding how a provider fares against others in the industry. We also speak with customers, read online feedback, and communicate one-on-one with pet insurance companies to obtain a well-rounded, unbiased analysis of a company’s standings.

Our team rates pet insurance companies based on several factors, including A.M. Best ratings (an indicator of financial stability), claim processing reputations, contract coverage, customer service, pricing, plan customizations, and more.

How Does The Claim & Reimbursement Process Work?

ManyPets uses a “copay then deductible” reimbursement method. This is calculated in the following way:

  • (Eligible vet expenses x Reimbursement percentage) – Remaining annual deductible = Reimbursement amount

What’s Our Final Verdict?

ManyPets isn’t our top pick for pet insurance because others can offer lower prices, more comprehensive coverage, and have longer, more stable reputations in the pet insurance industry. We rate the best pet insurance companies based on coverage, customer service and reputation, claim processing, price, plan customizations, and more.
